I want to hook up my car stereo system into my house?
I have a sony x plod system (deck, amp, two 6x9s, two 12" subs), and am selling my car. I am removing all the stereo compnents and want to build the car stereo system directly into the wall of my house and also run a 32" plasma screen wall mounted along with all of this. Is it possible, i know it will look clean, but will the sound be there? Also how would go about powering all of this without using a car battery ??
The sound should be okay as long as the speakers are installed in an enclosed wall. You will need a AC to DC transformer that rated 5A DC output or above in order to have enough juice supplied to the head unit to drive the speakers.
