do car security system need to be replace after a certain period or do they work life long?
my car is 2000 model. it has a security alarm lock (installed in 2000). it behaves in an arbit manner. it stopped responding to remotes. is the problem with remote or the lock? how much a simple alarm lock would cost in New Delhi/NCR?

The remote is fine..it has 3 buttons, only 1 works on 1 remote, and on the other nothing.
have you tried a new battery in the remote?
