I am buying an old honda. Im wanting to install install all this, but Im not sure what the average cost is. And I dont want to get scammed.
A lot of times you can find a deal where if you buy the head unit then you get a free install plus parts. Otherwise about $50 labor plus a $15-20 wiring harness for the head unit.
Overall, I could cost you up to $150 for the full install or more at some places.
You could try and do it yourself for next to no cost. Ask questions, read up a little and you may find that it is not as difficult as you may think.
I have installed around 30 full systems now and on the last round, in my garage with just a few tools, I installed a head unit, 2 door loudspeakers, 2 rear loudspeakers, subwoofer amp and wiring, and a subwoofer in about 8 hours. That included building custom spacers for all of the loudspeakers, modifying the back seat a bit, testing everything and tuning. So, you can pull it off in a weekend, no problem.
