Can I fit aSony MP3 cd player to my 01 Audi A4 1.8 Turbo Quattro?
The cd player has a connection for a cd changer and I just don't want to haver to sell it with my old car, even though the cd play in the Audi is quite good.
yes it'll be the same "iso" plugs on the audi. there will be an extra plug on the vehicle that doesn't fit into anything, just leave this empty. You might have to swap the red and yellow wire over on the sony harness if it doesn't keep it's memory.
You'll need special tools to release the standard audi unit from the dash tho. Don't try putting anything else in the slots incase you damage the release mechanism.
I'd definately keep the standard audi radio in though it'll have better sound quality than the sony one
