light comes on and goes off p0300. came on after car wash. what might be the problem?
plugs wires cap and rotor are new. only a month of use. ran like a champ. went to car wash light came one. goes off after a few restarts. comes on while driving. lags in power when over 3o mph. sometimes sluggish off the line. what might be the problem and how can i fix this?
Sounds like something didn't like getting wet - P0300 is random misfire, which suggests the ignition got wet. The classic trouble spot is the inside of the distributor cap. WD-40 is popular for displacing the water - spray the inside of the cap and see how it goes.
On the bright side, you learned about it not liking water now instead of somewhere strange on a dark and rainy night.
