Hi everyone, my rearview mirror fell off a couple weeks ago and I have tried just about everything to reattach it with no luck!!! It just falls right off again the same day! First I tried attaching it with liquid nails... fell off immediately. Then I went to the auto parts store and got one of their kits made especially for this.. fell off same day. Even still, I came and read about someone who said to use more of the glue and it will work. I used more of the glue and it still fell off immediately!! I am at my wits end with this thing. I'm thinking it might be because I can't get the old adhesive off of my window. I tried a razorblade but the stuff is so unbelievably thick and hard that it didn't even budge, it's like glass on glass or something. Please help!!!!!!! How much would it be to just have a professional do this?! 
How much does it cost to get it fixed at the glass shop? Thanks!
before applying the stuff in the kit you have to clean the glass first so it will hold. i use rubbing alcohol before putting the stuff on from the kit. maybe try a new spot on the glass. drop down some below to where it was in the first place.
