Why does my ipod static in my car when i use it through my DVD players?
I have a 2008 trailblazer LT3. I have 2 DVD players in my headrest that i use to play my ipod through. it has the red white and yellow AUX ports on it and i have a monster brand cable that has the red and white ends that i plug into the aux and then goes to a stand jack for an ipod. to play my ipod i have to turn on my DVD players and turn my radio to station 88.3 FM. the problem is that for some reason it gets staticy when im driving some times and it gets really bad. my car is designed so that when the DVD players are on if the wireless headphones are not in use you can play the sound through the car speakers so im using this function to play my ipod. i am confused though as to why it would be staticy??? it fades in and out as i drive through different areas. i am guessing my DVD players transmit a FM signal but why would they do that if there wired into the car.... is there any explanation as to why it would be staticing like that? please help. thanks!
YOU have built in DVD players in your car... and they didnt supply you with a direct line in to your stereo!??
Man you got robbed... why the H would you want to broadcast over FM ?!?
Even when you find a perfectly clear station...one its still radio quality and two..as soon as you take a drive through an area broadcasting on the frequency QUICK drop what your doing and find a new frequency...oh wait I'm driving
try to get a direct line in to an auxiliary port on your stereo...for everything
most newer car stereo's have an auxiliary in ...if yours doesn't i might invest in one
if you have multiple devices you can plug a switch into the AUX port and then all your devices into the switch
small project
good luck
