I just bought a radio for my boat, it's a car stereo that I just installed into the glove box of the boat. I got it all hooked up and originally was just going to use an FM transmitter with my iPod to get music since it only has a cassette player. Then i discovered the RCA hookup (red n white audio) in the back and thought I'd get a much better quality if i use that, so I went out and bought a nice cable that hooks the iPod directly to the radio, and I can't get it to work.
There's no button to press just to switch it to the RCA cables and I couldn't find a station or something like that. It's one of those radios with the knob you twist to change the station, it's not old at all, just cheap. At one point while messing with the knob I LIGHTLY heard the song playing from my iPod, but it scratchy and really quiet. I have no idea what else to try, so any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
