to have a sweet audio system in my car?
To adjust bass, you set your amp to 40Hz with Bass Boost off, and all other levels at MIN. You also keep all sound enhancers on 0 for the time being. They DO NOT make your system louder. Now turn your head unit to a louder listening level, or until it begins to crackle. Now turn it back down just a hair. You have pre-set your head unit set. Now turn the Gain dial on your amp until you hear the same crackle. Now adjust the level down, just slightly. Run your sub with Bass Boost off, and LPF at 40Hz to 120Hz.
To adjust speaker listening volume, turn the switch/dial to 250 Hz on your amp with Bass Boost on. As mentioned before, sound enhancers will still remain off. Now repeat the "crackle and re-dial" process with your amp, or pre-amp setting(s) until specific sound is desired.
You may now adjust sound enhancers to your desired level. I personally would suggest a Bass rating of 4, as well as a Treble rating of 4, with all other enhancers remaining at 0. The Loud option would most likely perform best on Loud Low, however you may tune it to your particular liking.
