im looking to run a car amp inside my home the amp draws a max of 25 amps (fused at 25amps).
so i need a 120vAC to 12vDC converter but i cant find ant that meet my needs.
so my question is what should i use to meet these requirements?
A common application for such a supply is an amateur radio (ham radio) station.
Many ham radio transceivers are made to run off such supplies or be used in automobiles. The voltage often specified is actually 13.8 volts. This is the voltage that the car battery has when the engine is running and the battery is being charged by the alternator.
It would be good to know the actual current requirements, but it could be a good bet that a 25 amp supply would be ok.
