I'm trying to decide between these two JL audio speakers. Which are better?
which will sound better is an opinion that can only be answered from listening to the speakers yourself. But the first set is more sensitive than the second set, and so they will be a little bit louder at the same level of power than the other ones.
also since the first one is a component set, you can put the tweeters and woofers in seperate locations. this will allow you to put the woofer in the normal speaker slot, and you can put the tweeter higher up on the door. this makes for better sound staging and louder crisper highs since they will be coming from a source closer to you. I would go with the first ones.
