I live up north in the UK near Liverpool and theres a co-operative shop nearby that has a series of CCTV cameras on it. Now on the 31st May last month, some criminal damage was caused to my car. I went in and spoke to one of the people in the store and they said that they thought the CCTV may still be there but that it only lasts one month before it is wiped? I have contacted the police and they are due to collect the CCTV to check what happened soon but I'm worried it may be too late with it being almost July now?
Can anyone help on how long it lasts for and whether it may still show my incident?
recorders are all deffrent some use tape and some use a hard drive and record for deffrent amounts of time. so there realy no way to know.will the owner or manager of the store not look for you? i am the manager of a movie theater and any time some thing happens in my lot i go back and see if it was recorded and if so pull the clip from the hard drive and will give it to you or the police.
