i own 360max watt alpine 4 channel amp that can be bridged.
i am looking to hook it up to 2x10" subs in regular cab dakota.
im sure its just preference BUT which subs would sound best using the amp i already own.
saving for new/bigger amp and better subs is option but i would like to use what i have, so include your favorite setup with prices as well (it is reg cab so space is limited)
yea, this 360w max amplifier would then be 90w max per channel, which is probably closer to 50w rms, if even. then that would be perhaps 100w rms to each of your two woofers. i would recommend that you use the current amp you have for your component speakers and upgrade them. however if you must go the way of subwoofer, then i would recommend the punch series over the w1 sub. and i guess it would depend on which mtx sub you're looking at.
ps. as far as the 360w max rating, if it doesnt say rms then you actually have no idea who much power it *really* puts out. ive seen amps that are labled 4000w max that put out like, 300 or 400 rms. but alpine has a pretty decent reputation as far as that goes.
