Bypass Brake Wire In Volkswagon?

I have a 2010 VW Routan and it comes stock with touch screen DVD player. Now I know its illegal so don't lecture me please, Its for my wife while I drive. She wants to be able to watch movie while im driving on far trips. I was going to snip the brake cable and just ground it but someone was telling me i actually need a type of module? cause its ran to my vans ECU. Does any one know what the module is so i can look it up online to order it.
whats the module name? or model number. many told me i need a module but i dont know which onne i need.

If the receiver doesn't have gps, the parking brake wire can be tied to 12V (or ground, depending on the brand) to fool it into thinking the parking brake is set. If it has gps, you need a module as the gps tells the receiver you're moving.
