What type of colored contacts should I wear?
I am an African American male with dark brown eyes. I want to make my eyes brighter, but not significantly brighter (I don't want scary/fake looking eyes). What type of colored contacts should I wear? Hazel? Honey? Amber?
Hazel and honey sound nice. Honey might stand out more on the colour of your skin. Hazel might look a bit more natural.
Since your eyes are a dark brown maybe try a lighter shade of brown.
If you want your eyes to stand out (but not birght) you could try and use a blue or a greeny contact, but these might look fake.
Out of them my personal opinion would be to go for Hazel
