Does anyone know anything about 1920s makeup? Maybe something a bit Fleur Forsyte ish - ie more natural - the style that would have probably been used more by the upper classes back then.
I am wearing a black loose fitting flapperish dress which has black and 'silver' square beads around the top - and iv got this silver bar head piece with a few pearl flowers on.

eyes=shimmer but not too much. beiges,LIGHT pinks/browns. i agree with a champagne.
Lips=red or again, light pink but put a mauve gloss(blend,blend,blend!) to spice it up.
cheeks=ONLY put a hint of pink on your brush and put it on the apples of your cheeks. don't blend up nor down. its like a tap on your cheeks maybe 2-3 times and make sure you have a tad shimmer in the blush. If you do the shimmer try not to be so shimmer on your eyelids, keep it matte.
foundation= the girls NEVER wanted to be sunkissed they kept it natural.
