Could i connect my 12V and ground wire from my backup camera into my amplifier?
I just bought a backup camera i Got the yellow cable plug into the back of my dash, (RCA) and now i got a short amoount of the red and black wire. ( 12V and ground)
I don't want to tap the 12V into the reverse light because i would like to be able to have a constant power going to the camera. (so be able to watch rearview while driving foward)
I was wondering if this is okay to do : plug in the 12V wire(red) into my amplifier thats powering my subwoofers and also plug in the ground to my amplifier.
Would i be able to do this without damaging the amp/subs or anything else ?
yes, not really recommended but i cant see any issues arise from it
