Computer randomly restarts!?
My computer has been randomly restarting for months now!
I just dumped $80 to replace the busted CPU fan locks because I thought the fan was falling off of the CPU. The pc isn't TOO old (almost 3 years). Specs are Intel Pentium 4 3.0ghz, 2 gigs of ram, nVidia 6200 (i don't game) + plenty of cooling fans.
I disabled the automatic restart in my system properties and took a print screen of the most recent failure's log.
image is below:

Could this be a hard drive failure?
video card failure?
ram failure?
what is it?
ANY HELP?
can anyone tell me what the notes in the log mean?
and what information you can pull from that?
more recently it has also been shutting down completely and beeping.
W32Time is saying that it is a time synchronize error, and the computer is just telling you to synchronize the time. This could mean your CMOS Battery which is found on the motherboard, is dead. The CMOS battery controls the BIOS and runs the Boot Sequence, and it also runs the clock, with a dead CMOS Battery it might not boot and just restart. So get a replacement CMOS Battery, but if you can log on just check the internet time synchronization by double click the clock icon and selecting Internet Time.
The restart could also be caused by your Power Supply Unit dying or having a wire pinched like the yellow 12v wire. If it is just pinched it can cause problems so you should check the connections to the motherboard. If the PSU is dying then you will need a replacement which is not very expensive.
Anymore questions about my answer, contact me.
Have a nice day
