Car audio questions.?
Hi, I have some car audio questions.
1. 2. Can I use the amp above to power just the subs above and no speakers (power the speakers with the head unit)?
3. Can someone tell me how the ohms work on subs, and if my combination above is ohm-correct?
4. On the back of a head unit, how many RCA ports are there, and what is each of their functions?

I wouldnt buy any of that junk! The subs are cheap flea market crap they sell at the swap meets around here, and they blow up easily too. Dont even waste your money
I wouldnt buy the amp even on the basis of the add--- they claim its a 1 channel amplifier, but later say it has 4 other channels, and it doesnt specify what impedance its stable at. Look at the shipping weigh--- 6 pounds, it seems like a lightweight piece of junk.
Like the other guy said, learn more before you jump in and buy cheap crap, you get what you pay for dude. Time to scrap your whole plan and go back to the drawing board!
PS, every head unit is different! Some have 1 pair of RCA outputs, some have 2, some have 3. Look at the specifications!
