What could be wrong with my Fusion FE-402 Car Audio Amplifier (stopped working)?
Hi I have a 3 year old Fusion FE-402 car audio amplifier that I recently moved from my old car to my new car (along with subwoofer). The amp worked great for a week, then yesterday I went to listen to some music but the amp would cut out over a certain volume. So I continued listening to my music at half volume, then this morning I went to listen to some music again but the red light on the back of the amp was just flashing. I checked all connections (which were good) and checked voltage which was good. Then tried again, now the red light just turns on and fades out completely (with no green light whatsoever). The inline 12v power fuse is intact. I removed the amp fuse which is also intact.
Is the amp dead? Can this be fixed? Any ideas?!

It sounds like it overheated.... make sure the amp has plenty of ventilation.
