ok. I have 2 Alpine Type R. 12". and some cheapie 500rms 2 channel amplifier. My question is this. I am hooking it up to a home theater system. But the sub that comes with the system gets its power from the deck. so i was wondering. is there a way i can hook the amp up to the deck(like yuoud do on a car stereo deck) and run the power cord for the amp, to an outlet? do i have to have to have an adapter kit? im trying to do it like car audio dealers do, how they have displays. is this possible?what tools would i need?
For household electric you need household amps...
For car electric you need car amps...
Now granted there are people who could rig up batteries and battery chargers in the house to use car amps in the house.
But opportunity costs say no.
A/C amps for residential use...
D/C amps for vehicle use...
