Ok so I have two Lanzar 15's dual 4 ohm subwoofers, dual voice coils. RMS power range is 1000 watts peak power handling 2000 watts, each(I have two). With that I have a 4000 watt 2 channel Lanzar amp RMS power range 1000-2000 watts, Maximum power 4000. What is the amp wire kit to roll with? dont wanna fry nuttin!
If (lowest RMS power)the rms power is 2500 watts and IF your putting out 13.8 volts from your cars electrical system then thats ROUGHLY 180 amps of current.you need 0 gauge or no smaller than 2 in my opinion(Im an electrician). You can try 1/0....But 4 guage is too small.I wouldnt go any lower than 1/0 just because your RMS you listed was a range....Better safe than sorry. BIGGER IS ALWAYS BETTER(thats what she says LOL).You can NEVER go wrong with OVERSIZING your wire.
